Can you learn AWS without IT background?

Yes. It’s possible to learn AWS and get certified without an IT background or degree, provided the necessary training hours are completed. The most approachable AWS exams are the “cloud practitioner” or the “associate” exams.

Can a non programmer learn AWS?

In some circumstances working with AWS doesn’t require coding. It’s common that newcomers don’t create their AWS infrastructure via code, but instead use the UI. And many tutorials usually show the UI approach, as that’s one of the most straight-forward ways to learn AWS.

Is programming knowledge necessary for AWS?

So it is clear that having coding skills are always a plus for Cloud Computing. However, it is important to address why we are using Cloud Computing. As mentioned, platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform offer numerous services, many of which do not require you to code.

Do I need to know Python for AWS?

An efficient AWS architect should be able to write code in Java , Python , C# or any other of the programming languages which have an official AWS SDK. Understanding programming in general is important for creating viable, logical solutions that would work as intended.

Do I need to know programming to learn AWS?

Programming knowledge or experience is not a necessity though for learning AWS (though for some specific aspects of AWS, you would need to know scripting/programming). You need to be at least basic level proficient in traditional IT Infrastructure, with both conceptual knowledge and some experience to get started on learning AWS.

Yes. the AWS certification can be done by a non technical background person too. Having the basic IT skills will be an added advantage but it is not mandatory.
