Can you put AIO on top?
A top mounted AIO will recycle the hotter air from inside your case and will result in higher CPU temperatures. With a top mounted radiator, you will want to have good fans at the front of the case to supply the components with cool air and to keep decent airflow.
Should fans on top of case be intake or exhaust?
Generally, you want the case fans in front of the case drawing in air while the fans at the rear blow air out. If your case has vents at the top, they should be placed as exhaust fans because hot air will rise. Side-mounted fans should be used for intake, though they often don’t have air filters.
Are GPU fans exhaust or intake?
Front fans are intake, Back and top fans are exhaust. Those are the case fans. The GPU fans draw air from the bottom and blow it out the side of the graphics card and into the case.
Are blower graphics cards good?
However, when you’re working with a multi-GPU setup or a small form-factor case, blower-style cards can be superior in comparison to open-air cooled cards. They perform better in tightly packed setups and take care of their own hot air, making it easier to cool the CPU, chipset, and general inside of the Case.
Does AIO radiator placement matter?
An optimal mounting position not only decreases the amount of noise, but it also increases the longevity of your cooler. In general, you want to make sure that: The radiator is in a higher position in the loop than the pump. This ensures that the air is captured at the top of the loop and does not go into the pump.
Is it bad to have all exhaust fans?
It’s a fine balance. A single exhaust at back, and covered top ports creates enough low pressure area to help that influx of intake air, which drags with it gpu heat collected up top. 2x fans, one rear and one top rear would be better, higher draw.
