Can you reattempt jee?

Yes, this is possible, but remember this thing that if you get into any of the IITs (accept the admission) then you will not be eligible for JEE Advanced next year. You can very well give JEE Main exam, but not JEE Advanced.

Can I give JEE Advanced after taking admission in IIT?

ANSWER: Yes, you are eligible to write JEE (Advanced) 2020, provided you also satisfy all other eligibility criteria. QUESTION 23: I was offered a seat in an IIT during JoSAA 2019, I paid seat acceptance fee, reported to an IIT reporting centre and later withdrew before the last round of seat allotment.

What if I withdraw from JoSAA?

Answer: If you are not interested in pursuing the allotted branch, you need to withdraw your seat before the last round of seat allocation. If you withdraw your seat, you will not be considered for seat allocation for admission to any of the Institutes through JoSAA.

Can I change my category in JEE Advanced?

No, you can not change your category during JEE Advanced registration or form filling. You will be considered in General Category and you need not to upload the category certificate.

What if I clear JEE mains but not JEE Advanced?

If you qualify jee mains and not jee advance then you cannot get admission into IIT’s but you can appear for the counselling session and get admission into NIT, IIIT’s and GFTI’s based on your jee mains marks.

What happens if we qualify JEE Advanced?

After your JEE Advanced score is out, you will be allotted seats in prestigious engineering colleges through JoSAA counseling (March for January session; June for April session). Scenario 2: Apart from that, if there is time, just appear for state JEE exams where fetching a good score can help you get a seat in a govt.

Is JEE Advanced necessary for NIT?

JEE Advanced is not required for admission into NITs. It is only required for admission into Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Can I go to NIT after JEE Advanced?

Hi Ashok, hope you are doing well, yes you can get nit or iiit after being disqualified in Jee advance exam.

Can we withdraw from CSAB?

In case of WITHDRAWAL, the Seat Acceptance Fee will be refunded by CSAB after deducting Rs. 1,500/-. The Institute Fee, if paid, will be refunded by the Allotted Institute after deducting actual charges for Boarding / Lodging during stay in the Institute.

Can we withdraw seat in CSAB?

Yes, you can participate in the CSAB special round of JoSAA if you withdraw your allotted seat. You will haven to register as a fresh candidate for the special round. Anyway, even if you do not withdraw the allotted seat, that seat will get automatically cancelled.
