Can you return American Eagle clothes to any location?
Bring your items to any AE, Aerie, or Tailgate store in the U.S. for easy, free returns and exchanges. If you don’t have proof of purchase, you’ll be credited the current price of the item in the form of an AE gift card.
Can you return something after you washed it?
It is up to the retailer. However, most stores will take back merchandise even if you have removed the tags as long as they can tell that it has not been worn.
