Can you use a normal amp for an acoustic guitar?

You cannot plug an acoustic guitar into any kind of amp because it lacks the electronics. An acoustic/electric guitar, however, is the same as an acoustic guitar but with electronics and a battery component so you can amplify it. In fact, you can even plug it into electric guitar amps.
