Did Catelyn Stark survive in the books?

In George R.R. Martin’s book series, Catelyn Stark is resurrected after being murdered at the Red Wedding after the Boltons and Freys betrayed her son Robb. Catelyn’s body is found by a group of outlaws called the Brotherhood without Banners.

Is Brienne dead in the books?

Brienne is actually dead. (Don’t ask, it’s just a wonky theory I have with no support.) Brienne makes it seem like she is leading Jaime to his death and instead sacrifices her own life to kill Lady Stoneheart and command Jaime and Pod and Hyle to finish their journey to find Sansa.

Books. King Robb Stark was the eldest son of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully, as well as the husband of Jeyne Westerling. He was looked up to by his brother, Bran Stark, and was good friends with Theon Greyjoy and his half brother Jon Snow. Robb was killed at the Red Wedding by Roose Bolton.
