Absolutely! I’ve seen quite a few concerts in my 57 years where musicians have forgotten lyrics. I think melodies are probably harder to forget. Probably, if a singer hasn’t performed a song in a long time, or just wrote a new song for a concert, there is a better chance that they could mess up.
