Do RBI Grade B officers get quarters to live in?

The house allowance of 15\% of basic pay will be paid, if accommodation is not provided by the bank. Bank Pays lease amount up to 60,000 per month. At certain centres, limited Number of residential quarters are available.

Do RBI Grade B officers get bungalows?

RBI Grade B employees are eligible for housing facilities. Currently, there are only a selected number of accommodations available. And if the bank fails to give accommodation service, the employed person will be eligible to get House Allowance of 15\% of Basic Pay.

What is RBI retirement age?

The central bank has specified that the retired officer should not be more than 63 years of age on the date of declaration of vacancy. The officer should have served the Bank till the age of 60 years. Officers who take / had taken Voluntary Retirement too can apply.

What is it like to live in RBI quarters?

My dad works in RBI and I have my all my life stayed in those quarters, so I will share the experiences. They are generally in the prime locations and are beautiful with playing area,badminton courts , jogging spaces. There are lush green trees, water supply and anything which goes wrong in the apartment get fixed in one complaint.

What are the working hours of RBI grade B officers?

The new employees will be on probation for 2 years before being appointed. RBI Grade B Officer will work for 5 days in a week, barring Saturday and Sunday. Working hours last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

How many BDR flats does RBI give to its employees?

At some places, RBI has converted 2 flats of class III employees into 1 flat for officers, in that case Grade B officers may get flat with 3-4 bed rooms with 3–4 toilets and balconies. Normally 2 BDR flats (Quarters) in good location .There will be waiting list for staff quarters in metros.

Quite comfortable..Normally spacious 2 BHK apartments are provided…RBI colonies are generally located in very good localities of the respective cities…fully secure…however furnishing is not provided by the office, but liberal furniture allowance is given..Hope you are satisfied Study economics for business with MIT.
