Do vacation days include holidays?

Many employers now lump together vacation time with personal days and sick time to provide a total number of days of paid time off (PTO) from work. This bank of time typically does not include federal holidays which, depending on the employer’s holiday policy, would be additional days off from work.

Is a week’s vacation 5 or 7 days?

For a worker in a 5-day-per-week job, a week of vacation would be 5 work days, since the worker already gets the other 2 days off. Only if your normal work schedule was 7 days per week would a week of vacation be 7 days.

If the employee did not work, he/she shall be paid 100\% of his/her salary for days indicated [(Basic wage + COLA) x 100\%], while for work done during the regular holiday, the employee shall be paid 200\% of his/her regular salary for the first eight hours [(Basic wage + COLA) x 200\%].
