While 96 percent of Americans recognize the value of vacation days, over 40 percent don’t use them, according to a 2014 study. In fact, use of vacation days in the U.S. is at an all-time low for the past 40 years.
Do you get vacation days every year?
The survey reports that salary employees receive an average of 12 days of vacation after one year of service, 16 days after five years, 19 days after ten years, and 23 days after 20 years of employment.
