Does Caltech allow double majors?

Can I double-major? Students can double major if they satisfy the unit and courses requirements of both options. See the descriptions of each major for the detailed policies.

Can I double major in computer science and economics?

A new joint degree in Computer Science and Economics will allow undergraduates to focus on both disciplines, which are increasingly connected in today’s digital age. All current undergraduates, including those in the class of 2020, will be eligible to graduate with the 14-credit major.

Can you double major in computer science and biology?

Yes. Taking a double major means having to take many required courses, even though some may apply to both programs.

Does Caltech accept second bachelor’s?

After two years in residence at Caltech, and the successful completion of our requirements, 3/2 students will be granted a Bachelor of Science degree from Caltech and a second bachelor’s degree from their liberal arts college. Students may transfer into any of the Caltech options.
