Does my laptop support 1080p monitor?

If your computer is capable of 1080p playback and has an HDMI port (or other 1080p-capable port such as DisplayPort) your computer will be capable of 1080p output. If you want to view 1080p content in full 1080p quality on the laptop itself, then you’ll want a display resolution of either 1920×1080 or 1920×1200.
