Do you need cam for Kraken?

How good is nznzxt CAM software?
NZXT has a well earned reputation for its terrible CAM software and you need it to configure your Kraken. It performed better than the reviews led me to believe it would on noise, cooling capability with a 2700x CPU running 24×7 Folding @ home. Control the fans by connecting the to your motherboard headers.
Is the NZXT X62 fan any good?
In NZXT CAM’s case, it is well earned and long, long running. I replaced the x62 that was fan swapped with Noctua NF-A14 fans (much quieter and better performing than the supplied NZXT fans) with a Noctua fan swapped NF-a12x25 NH-D15 SE-AM4 heatsink assmebly.
