Does the CRJ have auto throttle?
AutoPower® is an automatic throttle system designed to provide smooth, engine-synchronized thrust management with precise engine target setting and airspeed control, from takeoff to touchdown. The system automatically controls thrust during takeoff, climb, cruise, approach, landing, and go-around.
Does the CRJ 700 have autothrottle?
The real CRJ700 has no autothrottle although its engines are controlled by FADECs. For beginners and the lazy one we re-included the autothrottle as an option.
Does CRJ 1000 have auto throttle?
The CRJ is based on the Challenger 601 airplane. It didn’t have auto throttles and the regional airlines who are Bombardier’s customers wouldn’t want to pay for it.
Does the CRJ 700 have Vnav?
Today I flew the CRJ 700 and had the vnav option enabled. Just before the TOD I set the altitude and pressed vnav. The plane immediately dived and I had to disengage vnav, stablise the altitude and wait for a bit before rengaging vnav and it seemed to work pretty well up until LOC was captured and approach pressed.
Does CRJ 900 have auto throttle?
The only time an Auto Throttle is really useful is in cruise…. which the CRJ200/700/900, ERJ135/145, Cessna Citation, Learjet, PC24 etc don’t usually do all that much of.
Is the CRJ 700 easy to fly?
Which is to say, the CRJ is incredibly fun to fly. That said, the Aerosoft CRJ is the real deal. Flying this aircraft requires putting in quite a bit of time to get up to speed on systems and procedures. There is no “I just want to go flying” option for this aircraft.
Does CRJ900 have autothrottle?
While the CRJ900 lacked an autothrottle, I found the FADEC and CLIMB detent efficiently maximised climb thrust, while reducing pilot workload. Clear of the traffic pattern I engaged the autopilot in heading and speed hold modes. The autopilot smoothly captured our cruise altitude of 33,000ft.
Does CRJ 900 have VNAV?
The CRJ-550 and CRJ-1000 come with a coupled VNAV option. It’s available as a customer option for the CRJ-700 and -900 as well. If the acftdata.
Does CRJ 200 have slats?
Airplanes with leading edge slats (movable panels on the front of the wing) approach the runway with the nose up, while airplanes without slats approach with the nose down. Examples of the former include the Boeing 737, while the Bombardier CRJ-200 approaches nose down (later-model CRJs have slats).
How much does a CRJ 200 cost?
The Bombardier CRJ200 price was around $24.375 million dollars (USD) for a new CRJ200 jet from Bombardier.
What is VNV mode autopilot?
VNAV stands for Vertical Navigation and is an autopilot feature that allows the aircraft to adjust vertical speed to meet a predetermined altitude at a specified waypoint. distance to the next waypoint. and the difference in altitude between your initial altitude and your target/final altitude.
Does the CRJ have a VNAV function without “coupled VNAV”?
The CRJ has a VNAV function even without “Coupled VNAV”. Understand that Coupled VNAV is different from the normal VNAV. If @LawfulFob78 doesn’t have a VNAV button, there is some other issue. Do you both understand how Coupled VNAV and the regular VNAV functions work? Not sure how coupled vnav works
What is the difference between the ererj135 and crj145?
ERJ135/145 has FLCH and speed hold for climb and descent. Both only have those is to protect from over speeds. Both have VNAV but the CRJ actually has a VNAV FMA. The E-jets (170-175 etc) have A/Ts and maybe the CRJ-1000.
How to initiate a decent with no auto-throttle?
If it works like other aircraft with VNAV and no auto-throttle it will be something like this. You set a VS to initiate a decent at a certain point. At that point the plane begins to decent at that VS. Then you need to set the throttle to match the desired speed. You set a SPEED (IAS,FLC) to initiate a decent at a certain point.
Do auto-throttles reduce pilot-workload?
Auto-Throttles could make the planes more fuel efficent Wink and reduce pilot-workload. No really. Pilots just set the speed just like A/T would. Keeps the pilot more on top of things. Heck SWA does not have VNAV or A/Ts in ANY plane just to keep the pilots on top of the plane and not lazy.
