Does Wikia show your IP?

Unless someone is editing logged out, Fandom will not expose IPs. However, there are times when we will look up an IP to help us combat bad behaviour. These groups will also keep IP addresses private, but they may show in block logs on individual wikis.

How can an IP address be traced?

If the user visits a website, his/her IP address is registered in the access logs of the server serving the website. This IP address is then tracked using the help of the ISP. If the address belongs to a user in a network, the MAC address of the device registered with temporary IP provided by the router is checked.

Can police find someone with an IP address?

The authorities can only track an IP address to a VPN company, which they’d then have to force to reveal the real IP address from logs, which might not even exist. If the criminal connected to that VPN from another, law enforcement would have to work their way through multiple companies to find the details.
