How are IIT Bombay teachers?

Faculty: Faculty members at IITB are really great, and they are very knowledgeable. They are PhD holders from great universities. The teaching quality depends on every professor, but the teaching quality of most of them is good. The course curriculum is good, and our college offers many additional courses also.

The Government of India has appointed Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay as the new Director of IIT Bombay. Prof. Chaudhuri will assume charge as Director, IIT Bombay on April 15, 2019.

How can I become a professor of IIT Bombay?

Professor A minimum of 10 years post-PhD teaching/research/professional experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc, IISERs, IIMs or at an equivalent level in any other Indian/Foreign Institutions/Universities of comparable standard.
