How can I prepare for INMO?

Qualifying students from INMO participate in International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (INMOTC), from where 6 candidates make it to the Indian team for IMO.

  1. Developing a mathematical mindset.
  2. Read Mathematics Olympiad Books.
  3. Previous year question papers.
  4. Advanced Books, IMO questions.

Can OCI write inmo?

The candidates must be Indian citizens. Provisionally, students with OCI cards are eligible to write the IOQM subject to conditions as explained below: As per the orders of the Madras High Court, students with OCI status will not be eligible for selection to the Indian team in the International Mathematical Olympiad.

How do I take the India Regional Mathematical Olympiad?

Students take the test by scoring high on the India Regional Mathematical Olympiad . Test takers have 4 hours to solve 6 problems. The test covers topics in precollegiate mathematics, though calculus can be used on the test. Like most Olympiads, clear solutions are required to get credit for a problem.

How to score high in INMO exam?

To be able to score high in INMO, it is essential to build your mathematical aptitude. For that you need to work on developing your analytical thinking, enhancing your problem solving skills and improving your logical thinking ability. In addition, you need to develop a deep understanding of all the concepts.

What is the date of InMo?

Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) is Stage-3 of the Mathematical Olympiad Programme. It will be held on the third Sunday of January (January 19, 2020). Only those students who are selected in RMO 2019 and those who have received an INMO certificate of merit in 2019 are eligible to appear for the INMO 2020.

What is the reward for INMO students with special interest in mathematics?

Moreover, if they have special interest in Mathematics but are not pursuing it as a subject, they are offered an annual cash award of Rs 9,000 INMO qualifiers are also eligible for the Kishore VaigyanikProtsahanYojana (KVPY) fellowship, if they pursue further study in science in India.
