How did BTS get put together?

Bang Si-hyuk decided to build the group around RM and in 2010 became the first member/leader of a Kpop boy group that will end up being known as BTS. Moreover, Bang Si-hyuk decided to go away from his all Hip Hop group and decided to create a more balanced Kpop group that incorporated a lot of Hip Hop.

Who joined BTS first?

Rap Monster was the first to join BTS and the only one from the original line up. He said the famous quote, “Jimin, you got no jams.” “My name is Rap Monster, not Dance Monster.”

How did BTS suddenly become famous?

They got recognition overseas during ‘Boy In Luv’ in 2014 and gained fans there after and then their fame was finally felt when they won 1st place at a music show for ‘I Need U’ on May 5, 2015. If you think about the time they actually went big, I would say it is during ‘I Need U’ in 2015.

What year did BTS disband?

The boy band opted to renew their contract in the fall of 2018 for another seven years. If we only take the length of their contract into account, there shouldn’t be much talk about their potential disbanding until 2025.

Why did V join BTS?

Kim Taehyung aka V was passionate about being a musician and therefore he started playing the saxophone in high school. He accompanied a friend to an audition for Big Hit Entertainment. The members saw him and asked him to audition and that’s how V became a part of BTS.

BTS is a seven-member K-pop group that has become a global sensation.

    BTS officially debuted on June 12. But BTS debuted on June 13, 2013, under Big Hit Entertainment , with the lead single ‘ No More Dream ‘ on album ‘2 Cool 4 Skool’. Their official debut date is June 13th, 2013.
