How do I find my EUIN?

Process of Getting New EUIN Registration

  1. 2 Stamp sized photographs.
  2. Copy of PAN card.
  3. Address Proof (Copy of Ration Card, Bank Statement, Utility Bill – Electricity or Landline are valid)
  4. Certified Copy of NISM/CPE Passing Certificate.
  5. Fees as applicable (only payable through Demand Draft)

What is EUIN in mutual fund?

EUIN or Employee Unique Identification Number is a unique identification number allotted to the employee/ salespersons/relationship managers of the AMFI registered distributors interacting with the investors for the sale of mutual fund schemes.

Why is EUIN needed?

Obtaining EUIN is mandatory for salespeople and individual ARN holders. In order to detect mis-selling, SEBI has come out with a system called employee unique identity number (EUIN) which is allotted to employees/salespersons/relationship managers giving advice to clients in banks and other distribution firms.

Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) has revived a completely paperless online registration process through its website www.amfiindia.com for obtaining fresh AMFI Registration Number (ARN) and Employee Unique Identification Number (EUIN) for Mutual Fund distributors and their employees.

What is the difference between Arn and EUIN?

Unlike the ARN which is common to the entire organisation, the EUIN is unique to that specific employee. Assigning this specific number, which is distinct from the company’s ARN, helps to affix responsibility for mis-selling.

What is EUIN in AMFI?

AMFI, has allotted Employee Unique Identity Number (EUIN) to all the employees, who are registered with AMFI and having valid registration. A photo identity card bearing EUIN is also being issued to the existing corporate employees after they surrender existing corporate employee ARN card issued to them.

How do I cancel EUIN?

What is the procedure? You need to surrender the original EUIN card to AMFI / CAMS POS for cancellation of EUIN card. Parallely, you need to apply for the allotment of Individual ARN by submitting the relevant application form along with the requisite documents and fee for issuance of separate ARN to you.

The unique identity number of such an employee is referred to as Employee Unique Identification Number (EUIN). The EUIN is a seven digit unique alpha numeric number, with one alphabet and six numerals, for example E123456 allotted to each Sales Person holding a valid NISM certificate and associated with an ARN holder.
