How do I know if my university is accredited?

The following is the process by which prospective students can tell if a particular school is accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.

  3. Step 3: Check the CHEA or US Department of Education’s Website.

What happens if you get a degree from a non accredited university?

Employers may not want to hire you with a degree from an unaccredited college. Students at unaccredited colleges generally cannot get federal or state financial aid.
