How do I make my granny squares straight?

It’s very easy to do, you just need to pin the squares out onto a towel or protected surface. I often use a few pins on some of the inner rows too to make sure the corners are staying in place nicely. Then just set the shape.

How to sew crochet squares together?

Lay out the two edges that will be sewn,lining up the corresponding stitches on each side.

  • Work from the inside/bottom out,sew through each side as if you were lacing a pair of tennis shoes.
  • Continue sewing back and forth from the inside/bottom out between both pieces to end.
