How do you add someone on Snapchat who has blocked you?

If a Snapchatter blocks you, then you can’t add them. Learn more about blocking Snapchatters. If the account was deleted, then you can’t add them. The deleted account may still show up in Snapchat temporarily, until you log out and log back into the app.

Can you search someone name on Snapchat if they blocked you?

Search their username or full name. If a user has blocked you, they won’t show up when you search for them within Snapchat. If they’ve deleted you from their Friends list, however, you should be able to find them by searching for them.

Why can’t I add someone on Snapchat by username?

When you swipe right to view chats, you can hold their name on a previous chat and tap add friend. If it gives you the option to add friend, but then shows the message ‘Sorry! Couldn’t find username’ they have BLOCKED you or DELETED their account. (View Step 2 for more.)

After unblocking, you’ll need to search for the friend and add them back. To do this, type the username into the search field at the top, then tap Add to the right of the profile picture and username. If the friend isn’t a public user, they have to add you back, as well.

You can’t send messages when you’re blocked on Snapchat.

Will a Snapchat say delivered if you are blocked?

If someone blocks you on Snapchat, they’ll disappear from your contacts list, and even if you try and search for them through the app, you won’t be able to locate them. If someone deletes you, they’ll still appear in your contacts, and if you send them a snap it will just say ‘delivered’.
