How do you get a degree in Nchmct?
NCHM offers degree jointly with IGNOU. You appear BSc HHA exams by NCHMCT and 5 BHM papers by IGNOU. So when you graduate, you get the degree from IGNOU at the convocation day after you’ve registered and paid the fees. You can also pay and collect the degrees from IGNOU anytime after the convocation.
Is Nchmct is a deemed university?
Since the NCHMCT, which functions under the Tourism Ministry, does not have the status of a university, the IHMs are currently affiliated to the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) which grants their students the graduate-level degree in hotel management.

The application process for admission in IHM is offline only. For B.Sc. in Hotel and Hospital Administration, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with 50\% marks. English must be a compulsory subject.
