How do you read expiration dates on soft drinks?

How do I read the expiration date on the container? The first two numbers (left to right) indicate the last two digits of the year. This is followed by the month and then the date.

Does Coca Cola actually expire?

Coke can last for 6-9 months after the date printed on the container if stored properly and unopened.

How do I know when my cold drink expires?
