How do you remove a side burner?

Remove side burner igniter wires (1) from side burner igniter. B) Press in left clip of side burner igniter (2), using a flathead screwdriver until it releases from side burner assembly. C) Press in right clip of side burner igniter (3), using your thumb until it releases from side burner assembly.

  1. Shut off the gas supply. Close the shut-off valve on the propane gas tank.
  2. Remove the cooking grate and flame tamer. Remove the cooking grate and flame tamer from the top of the damaged burner.
  3. Remove the burner.
  4. Install the new burner.
  5. Reinstall the cooking grate and flame tamer.
  6. Restore the gas supply.
