How does force dice work?

When a player makes an athletics check, and they have a Force rating of 1, they may add one Force die to the ability check dice pool. For each Light side force point generated, the player may add one Success or Advantage to the roll; whichever they choose.

What is Game crit?

In gaming, crit is short for critical hit. A critical hit is an attack (usually lucky or random) that inflicts a huge amount of damage to or outright kills an enemy.

What happens during crit?

To put it simply, critical hits in DnD 5e mean you automatically hit your target (regardless of their armor class) and double the number of damage dice your roll. The die type changes based on the weapon. Now, usually, that’s all crits do; automatically hit and double damage dice.

How does force work in EOTE?

A starting Force Sensitive Exile rolls 1 Force die each time they attempts to use a power. After acquiring the Force Rating Talent at the end of the specialization, they roll an addition die. If they acquire another such upgrade from another specialization, then they would continue to increase their pool appropriately.

What is the crit rate?

Critical Rate (CRIT Rate) is the probability that a strike will be a Critical Hit. Critical Damage (CRIT DMG), expressed as a percent, represents how much extra damage the Critical Hit will do.

Is Crit an on hit effect?

Some champions may actually use their critical strike animation for their empowered-basic attack if they ever activate a single-use on-hit effect, only it does not actually count as an actual critical strike.

How do crits work with vehicle weapons?

When using Vehicle weapons against characters the GM has the option to apply a +50 to crits (I save this for “big” weapons like bombs missiles and turbolasers myself). A character can take wounds to double their WT, at which point you no longer count. If they continue to take wounds, crits continue to accumulate as normal.

How do CRITs work with single hit attacks?

If you make a single hit attack that, through things like multiple triumphs, allows or more then one crit to be activated, you only apply one critical hit, but the D100 roll gets a +10 for each additional crit activation.

How important is +50 crit chance on weapons?

This becomes very important when using personal weapons against vehicles and is a key component to combat encounters of that type. When using Vehicle weapons against characters the GM has the option to apply a +50 to crits (I save this for “big” weapons like bombs missiles and turbolasers myself).
