How is right and wrong determined?

Right and wrong is determined by the overall goodness (utility) of the consequences of action. Utilitarianism is a Consequentialist moral theory. Basic ideas: All action leads to some end.

Why does morality exist?

Both language and morality shift over time, but still operate within certain constraints. There are rules to every language, and rules to every morality.

‘Right’ and ‘good’ are the two basic terms of moral evaluation. In general, something is ‘right’ if it is morally obligatory, whereas it is morally ‘good’ if it is worth having or doing and enhances the life of those who possess it.

Like a circle, square, or the color yellow, they subjectively exist but they are not ‘made up’. Good and bad are used to describe the sense that our experience makes to us, not create a concept of pure fiction. Unlike quantitative distinctions, good and bad have no existence as objective phenomena exterior to our body.

From my point of view, good and bad does exist only in each social and maybe individual measurement but beside of that no. There’s no good and bad in science, so it depends. The universe doesn’t care whether your destroying planets or creating life.
