How long does an Eagle Scout board of review take?
Most Eagle Boards of Review are no less than 30 minutes, and sometimes as long as 60 minutes.
How should I dress for an Eagle Scout board of review?
Be sure all your insignia are in the correct places. Wear a complete class “A” uniform. If you do not have a complete uniform, talk with your Scoutmaster about how you might obtain the missing pieces. Wear your merit badge sash, even if you have not received all 21 of the merit badge patches.

It’s a rank that heralds respect and admiration from anyone who knows what Scouting is. And, it’s the rank that you’ve been working for countless years to earn!
How do I prepare for the Eagle Board of Review?
From my personal experience, the Eagle Board of Review serves a few different purposes, and therefore requires a few different preparations. Paperwork: Above everything else, the Board of Review will check your paperwork to make sure that all of your documents are in order.
How do you introduce a scout to the Eagle Scout board?
The Scout should be encouraged to talk – don’t ask questions answerable with a simple yes or no. Once the Scout’s Eagle Application, service project paperwork, letters of recommendation and these guidelines are reviewed, the Scoutmaster is asked to introduce the candidate to the Board (as a courtesy the Board members should stand).
Do you have to be registered to be an Eagle Scout?
