Can you skip Delf levels?

The DELF / DALF diplomas are independent: it is not necessary to be the holder of the diploma of the previous level to appear for an examination of a higher level. A candidate may appear for the same examination as many times as may be necessary for obtaining the desired diploma.

How difficult is B1 French?

If you are B1 level, this means that you are no longer a beginner. You know enough to be able to build more complex sentences in order to communicate. However, you are not fluent and not quite able to engage in a conversation with current affair topics for example.

Can I give A1 and A2 in the same exam?

Yes. You can. Definitely. I also gave A2 directly only. You can also give B1 directly. But it is not recommended to give B2. 1 directly as the complexity of the language increases very much. One can definitely skip A1, and give A2 as there is not much difference between the TWO levels.

Is it possible to appear directly for the B1 exam?

Yes, it is. As long as you make sure (you know or) to study the notions related to A2 level too before focusing on the requirements to pass the B1 level, then you can do it. You can skip any exams, and directly appear for a higher level exam. so yes appearing directly for B1 is possible.

How many times can I take the Delf A1 exam?

A candidate may give several examinations during the same session but may not appear for two versions at the same level (e.g., DELF A1 and DELF Pro A1).
