How long is a Six Sigma certificate valid?

Unlike IASSC’s certifications, ASQ’s Six Sigma yellow and green belts are lifetime certifications. In other words, they do not expire. However, black belt holders are required to recertify every three years by either obtaining 18 Recertification Units or retaking the black belt exam.

Does Six Sigma White Belt expire?

After fulfilling the certification requirements, candidates will receive an Official CSSC Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification issued by The Council for Six Sigma Certification, the most respected accrediting organization in the Six Sigma industry. Our certifications have no expiration date.

How do I renew my Six Sigma certification?

This Six Sigma Green Belt CERTIFICATION is valid for three years and must be renewed by emailing [email protected]. There will be a $25 fee to cover administrative costs associated with the renewal. Lost certificates may be replaced using the same process.

How long is the Six Sigma certification good for?

The Six Sigma Green and Yellow belts are valid forever and do not need re-certification. However, the Six Sigma Black Belt requires re-certification every three years. The Six Sigma Yellow belt provides a basic understanding of the concepts of Six Sigma.

The International Association for Six Sigma Certification™ perpetually and indefinitely recognizes all IASSC Certified Professionals. How much does it cost to recertify for Lean Six Sigma?

Recertification Fee: $ 175. IASSC Recertification Yellow Belt Exam is a 30 question, closed book, proctored exam with a 1 hour allotted time. The Exam contains approximately 10 multiple-choice and true/false questions from each major section of the IASSC Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Body of Knowledge.
