How many cores is my laptop?

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Select the Performance tab to see how many cores and logical processors your PC has.

Does my laptop have 4 cores?

You can find that right in the Task Manager. Just right click the Task Bar and select “Task Manager”. In the Task Manager, click the “More Details” button and go to the Performance tab. Click the CPU tab, and it will tell you your processor information right there.
