How many days holiday do doctors get?

1. Annual leave

Do all doctors work holidays?

Injuries and sickness don’t take the holidays off, and neither do many doctors. For many medical professionals, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years is just another day at the office.

What holidays do you observe as a nurse practitioner?

The ‘big six’ are usually observed: New Years day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. If the office/clinic observes other holidays, count it as an even bigger plus. Specializes in Community, OB, Nursery. I never complained about that. 🙂

Do you have to give time off for medical appointments?
