How many hours should an IB student study?

Roughly, it should take a student between 5–10 hours in total to come up with a solid first draft, and extra 1–2 hours for revisions and polishing before submitting it to your teacher and later to IB for evaluation. Along with IAs, there is the EE(extended essay).

Can you study IB at home?

Yes, online IB classes will count toward your IB Diploma. You can take classes from five of the six required subject groups online (science classes are only available in person). You can also complete part of the core (Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay) online.

Who can take IB courses?

Students must earn at least 24 points (based on exam scores of 1 to 7 and the extended essay) to receive an IB diploma. Only juniors and seniors are eligible to take IB classes and exams. Only IB diploma students can take the Theory of Knowledge course.

Yes, taking IB classes online will help you get your IB diploma. You can take classes from 4 of the 6 required subject groups online, and you can also complete part of the core (Theory of Knowledge class and Extended Essay) online.

Can I take online IB courses with Pamoja?

Unfortunately at this point in time, Pamoja Education (the only current provider of online IB courses) only allows students who are currently enrolled in the Diploma Programme or the Career-related Programme at an IB World School (a school that offers an IB program) to take their online classes.
