Is CIMA easy to pass?

Although CIMA isn’t easy, it is certainly achievable, and AAT will set you up well to study for and pass your exams. The pass rates are high, with an overall exam pass rate of between 70-95\% for objective test sittings and certificate level exams in the 12 months to 30 September 2018.

What is a good score in CIMA?

From 1 November 2015 CIMA Objective Test candidates will be awarded a scaled score between 0 and 150 with the pass mark set at 100 for each exam. Therefore in order to pass each exam it is necessary to achieve a scaled score of 100 or higher.

You must plan your time accordingly and make sure you cover all bases, the key to passing the CIMA MCS exam first time is having a balanced script. You must have the technical knowledge, pre-seen details, know how to apply them, industry examples and the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations in the exam.

CIMA Aptitude was a great tool – I think it was harder than the real exam so definitely prepares you well. Any specific areas you struggle with, you should concentrate on.

Is 88 a good score on the Cima MCs?
