How many wagons are there in Indian Railways?

As of March 2020, Indian Railways’ rolling stock consisted of 2,93,077 freight wagons, 76,608 passenger coaches and 12,729 locomotives.

Used for carrying Iron Ore. Fitted with 22.9 Ton Axle load CASNUB 22 NL Bogie, these wagons have a carrying capacity of 61.8 Tons. The Bogies are provisioned with additional springs to carry 70.0 Tons. The wagons are Bogie Mounted Brake System , High Tensile Centre Buffer Coupler and High capacity Draft Gear.
