How much do you make a month at Army basic training?

Military members are paid twice each month — on the 1st and 15th of each month. You get one-half of your monthly pay on the 1st and the second half on the 15th. Remember, this is the government, so getting paid isn’t instantaneous. It takes a few days for the gears to grind.

Do you have to shower together in the British Army?

There’s no way out of communal showers. They’re required. Everyone in your barracks will enter the shower room assigned to your barracks when commanded. Your instructor will give you a time limit for your shower and tell you when you may take your shower during the day or night.
