How much zopiclone can you take in a day?

The approved data sheet for Imovane advises no more than 4 weeks continuous treatment, and a maximum dose of 7.5mg (1 tablet) a day.

How many zopiclone can you take a night?

It is usual to be prescribed one tablet (7.5 mg) to be taken just before going to bed. Do not take more than one dose during a single night. If you are over 65 years of age, your doctor may consider the 3.75 mg strength tablets more suitable for you. Take zopiclone exactly as your doctor tells you to.

Can you take 15 mg zopiclone?

There may be an interaction between zopiclone and any of the following:

  • alcohol.
  • anti-anxiety medications (e.g., alprazolam, clonazepam, lorazepam)
  • anticonvulsants (medications used to prevent seizures; e.g., phenytoin, valproic acid, carbamazepine, gabapentin)

What will happen if I take too many zopiclone?

Overdose of zopiclone may present with excessive sedation and depressed respiratory function that may progress to coma and possibly death. Zopiclone combined with alcohol, opiates, or other central nervous system depressants may be even more likely to lead to fatal overdoses.

What is the highest amount of zopiclone you can take?

In patients with chronic respiratory insufficiency, a starting dose of 3.75 mg zopiclone is recommended initially. The dosage subsequently may be increased to 7.5 mg.
