How the piston moves from BDC to TDC?
During the compression stroke, both intake and exhaust valves are closed and the piston moves from BDc back to TDc, completing the first full revolution of the crankshaft. The exhaust valve then opens and the movement of the piston from BDc to TDc forces the exhaust gas out the valve.
