Is 7 CGPA good for Masters?

When it comes to academic profiles, we always recommend having a CGPA of 7.5 – 8.0 and a GRE score of 315 – 320 in order to get accepted at the top universities for MS programs in science and technology.

Is 7 CGPA good for MS in UK?

Anything above 3.0 is usually considered good and can be a minimum GPA requirement for most universities, and anything below that is generally not considered a good number. To give you an idea, a CGPA of above 7 translates to a GPA above 3.0.

Is GRE required for Germany?

GRE is not compulsory for most of the universities in Germany. However, some universities require international applicants to have acquired a certain score in the GRE. RWTH Aachen and TU Munich are such universities that asks foreign students to have GRE for pursuing MS in computer science from Germany.

What is the passing score in GRE?

They say that they require “A total score of 308 or above on the official GRE exam (153+ verbal, 155+ quantitative).” Again, this is a minimum. Let’s note it down. Most admitted applicants, have scores of 750 or higher on the Quantitative section of the test.

The reality is that most grad programs don’t look at your total GRE score but rather your individual Verbal and Quantitative scores. No, you should not. Your GRE score is pretty good. For a non-native English speaker, a 3.5 score in AWA is good. It may seem lower than the average accepted by most universities, but GRE is not the only criteria judged during admissions.

What GRE score do you need to get into a university?

Often times, the GRE score doesn’t decide where you study, but your overall profile does. To illustrate further, a candidate with a 308 score on the GRE may get admitted into a university in the 315-320 range. But at the same time, a candidate with a 330 score may not be admitted into the same university.

What is a good AWA score for an MS program?

Most of the top US universities expect students to score beyond 320 for MS programs. Second, 3.5 in AWA is definitely not a bad score, especially for a non-native speaker. Nevertheless, please do check your universities’ expectations and see if they require a score of 4.5 or more for admission.
