Is a mono amp better than 2 channel?

For powering the speakers in the doors and/ or rear speakers, use a 2 channel amp. Mono amps are used almost exclusively for powering subwoofers. If you’re talking about amps for the speakers and not a sub, I’d try to keep the number of separate amps to a minimum because of power consumption.

What’s the difference between monoblock and 2 channel?

The only difference between the Mono, Multi channel and Two channel amplifiers listed above is the amount of channels. Mono amp is only 1 channel, Stereo amp is 2 channels and multi channel is more than 2 channels.

What does a monoblock amp mean?
