Is Agents of SHIELD necessary?

Nope…its not necessary to watch Agent Carter and Agents of Shield, before watching Age of Ultron. Both these shows, just expand MCU. No its not. Agents of shield picked of where avengers ended and its second season has only one episode having a hint to Avengers : Age of Ultron Plot, potentially a SPOILER.

Should I watch shield or Agent Carter first?

Licensing fees also became an issue, and the series reduced them so as to ensure its Season 5 and 6 renewal. Despite the series’ aforementioned hardships, the creators stated the official reason for why Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. came to a close was so they could end it on their terms.
