Is Alien and Predator owned by Disney?

The Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of Fox is giving Marvel Comics a huge boost—and new story ideas—with properties like Alien and Predator. Disney buying Alien and Predator is paying off in Marvel Comics. The Walt Disney Company officially bought 20th Century Fox in 2019, with mergers beginning in 2020.

Is Predator franchise owned by Disney?

The company’s acquisition of 2oth Century Fox has seen a number of beloved franchises fall under the legal ownership of Disney, and the Predator films have recently become one of the most contentious of those acquisitions.

So we very well could see Disney become more comfortable with releasing rated “R” movies going forward, which could bode well for the future of the Alien franchise. And then there’s Predator, which Disney also now owns.
