Arabic sign languages are not particularly different from other known sign languages, such as ASL and BSL. In fact, the Arabic varieties in use have undergone some lexical influence from other sign languages (Miller, 1996).

Arabic verbs also always begin as infinitives and then change depending on the context. The language has a lot more personal pronouns that alter the infinitive compared to English.
