With its demise, Blu-ray follows Laserdisc, BetaMax, and VHS VCRs into the second-hand stores.

Is Blu ray the end of the line?

Saying Blu Ray is the last format is like saying the same thing for audio CD’s, which are still regularly released. 4k or even 8k Blu Ray might be the end of the line, but they will still see regular releases for decades to come. Nope! There will always be physical media because the retailers demand it.
