Today, many American universities do not accept a three-year undergraduate degree from India for admission to their postgraduate programmes. “There are institutions which do not accept any Indian three-year degree. Those which do so accept it on the basis of some qualitative criteria.

Once they achieved their BSc, they would be a graduate. If doing a Masters or PhD, they would be a postgraduate student.

However, it sometimes depends on the university, country any course you are planning to choose from. Therefore, every abroad college has a different admission protocol based on the course type.

If I have to be honest, it is better to be to do an undergraduate in India. It also helps if you are Indian national, especially if you want to work in the USA, you will have a ton of doors open to you. When I went to school in USA for my bachelors if found that there were not as many doors open for me and I was down 53,000$.

Individual degree program within the course offer potential career in various sectors covering that specific subject. BS or Bachelor in Science is also a three years undergraduate level course that is designed on grounds that are similar to B.Sc.
