BDM is a sales job, you will have to complete your targets by any means and if you don’t after 3 months you will have to leave and as the company is just expanding so they are hiring a lot of people and as much I know 80\% employees leave byju even before completing 2 years.

Is it hard to work as a manager at BYJU’s?
Yes! I am currently working as a manager in Byju’s and now its hard time for managers as well here. We have to create as much pressure possible on BDTA and BDAs either they resign on their own or we will give some silly excuse to fire you.

The Task: generate the need for the Byju’s type learning focussed on concept building, engaging studies, and visu I found out these traits after working and having an experience for myself. I wanted to try out Sales, to really understand will I be able to do it. I thought that once the training is imparted, things will roll out and I can work fine.
Do You Enjoy Being at home for BDA?
It wasn’t even like you could enjoy being at home on Mon, Tues (their official holidays) for BDA. If the target was not complete you still had to go to office and keep calling your leads until you book your session. Next week, somehow I could book a session with a kid and his mom.
What is the first day of BDA training like?
First day was full of joining formalities and trying to find people who had got the same final base location as yours (For me it was Mumbai). Over the week of training, they trained us Sales pitches and how the real BDA role works. We were sent back to our final location, but mind you now our real honeymoon period was over.
