Is C43 an AMG?

The C-Class compact luxury sedan has been on sale in the USA since 2015, with regular updates keeping it fresh; but as the “baby” AMG in the range, the new 2021 Mercedes-AMG C43 Sedan straddles the middle ground between the four-cylinder non-AMG models and the full-fat V8 C63 models.

No it’s not! A real AMG has to be built/assembled by the “one man one engine” monicker. If you car doesn’t have that badge on the engine then it’s just a tune/package appearance.
