Is Cie harder than Edexcel?

Difficulty Level An example being that, CIE has a reputation for being easier than Edexcel for English, and harder for maths. But students consider CIE harder and tougher than Edexcel due to the fact that they have to maintain more of an international standard when compared to Edexcel.

How long do GCSEs last for?

This is from personal experience – IGCSE is probably the hardest. The reason why? If you are doing your GCSEs you are probably taking subjects with one of these boards: AQA, OCR and EDEXCEL. CIE (Cambridge International) is basicallt IGCSE (International GCSE) IGCSE is by far the most used board internationally, hence the name.

Is the Edexcel GCSE board exam tough?

Well i think Edexcel GCSE Boards are tough. If you compare it to indian board like CBSE or ICSE then gcse is easy but if you compare it with IB board or any other board… its really hard. In edexcel boards exams, you have to select a minimum of five subjects and two subjects ( maths and english are compulsory ).

Which exam boards are the most reliable?

As a public opinion, AQA, Edexcel and OCR are considered to be the most reliable in awarding qualifications and by many considered to be the hardest exam boards.

Which board is the hardest to get a’s?

According to two seperate teachers at different schools who I’ve spoken with about this, both concur that as a general rule of thumb, OCR is regarded as the hardest board, with whom you are generally competing with ‘well educated private schoolers’ for a small number of A’s. Rep:?
