Is DGCA AME exam tough?

It is very difficult to clear all the DGCA exams for getting an AME License. There are presently 11 modules for B1 Heavy Airframe and Turbine Engine, and 10 modules for B2 Avionics. You have to score 70\% to clear a module. It is difficult to score 70\% marks.

Is DGCA a MCQ?

The DGCA CPL and ATPL exams are based on multiple choice questions. It not only requires a good foundation in ground subjects to answer such questions but also requires continuous practice of MCQs. Many questions are also used by the airline for their entrance exams.

How many questions are there in DGCA exam?

Like other CPL subjects, Air Navigation is an objective paper of 100 marks with 70 as the minimum required to clear it. The DGCA holds CPL exams once every three months and April’s Air Navigation paper (general) had 90 questions, out of which about 50 were numericals.

What is DGCA module?

DGCA Govt of India is the regulatory body which conducts the modules in academic years. The candidate has to clear all the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering subjects and training to get the AME license. There are total of 17 modules, but candidate has to clear the modules depending upon the chosen stream.

How to prepare for the DGCA written exam?

Each Section has different marks in the DGCA Written Exam. The candidates who are waiting for the Civil Aviation Jobs applied for the DGCA Jobs in Delhi. Hence, prepare well for the DGCA Exam by practicing the Previous Papers to score more marks.

Can I refer the previous DGCA paper for Civil Aviation exam?

As the competition is in a high range, all the candidates are advised to practice the DGCA Old Question Papers as much as possible. The provided DGCA Sample Papers are only for the reference use only. Hence all the applied candidates of Civil Aviation Vacancies can refer the Previous Papers.

Why DGCA approved AME institutes?

Like other Institutes/colleges under various regulatory bodies viz. AICTE, NCTE etc., these DGCA approved AME Institutes are also providing the necessary knowledge, experience and skill of Aircraft maintenance Technique in order to pass AME license. Merely completion of AME course will not fetch the students any licence or degree/diploma.

How can I become an AME in India?

As per the rules laid down by the govt. of India”. No aircraft can take off without the certification from qualified Maintenance Engineers.To become an AME one has to undergo AME course from a DGCA approved Institute.
