How do you get hands on experience in AWS Solution Architect?
Goto aws.amazon.com/getting-started/ and on the right side top menu, you will find Hands on Tutorials. Once you are on the hands-on tutorials page, you will see about 110 tutorials under different categories like containers, database, machine learning, serverless, storage etc.
What kind of experience does AWS recommend you have before taking the cloud Practitioner exam?
AWS recommends six months of AWS experience before taking this exam, but that experience can be in any capacity, including technical and non-technical roles (such as sales, management, or finance). In practice, your prep time is far more important for passing this exam.
Can I give AWS Solution Architect Professional directly?
I personally took the Solutions Architect Associate exam first. It used to be a requirement though you can now go straight to Professional. Without knowing personal circumstances, I would recommend taking the associate first, as it gets you used to AWS exam conditions and you should be ready to take that earlier.

The AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional is one of the most difficult AWS certifications. To clear this certification, you would need in-depth knowledge of cloud computing and many essential AWS services. Prior to pursuing this certification, I already had several years’ of AWS experience under my belt.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification exam is an Associate level exam. This AWS Cloud Certification is intended for AWS professionals with considerable experience in designing and deploying applications on AWS. The new version of the AWS Solutions Architect Associate exam (SAA-C02) is available since March 23, 2020.
